Chloe Slideshow

What’s in a name – Our litter theme for the Molly/Zeus litter was “luck”; because we were so lucky to get Molly from Brillhill Labradors. Over time the theme migrated to more of a Las Vegas theme. Chloe actually has a couple of themes going. Her AKC name is Misty Mountain Red Aces Wild which is more Las Vegas and her call name – Chloe is a nod to my brother’s and his wife’s favorite show – 24.

Life With Chloe

Chloes is our favorite dog. My brother Lou’s hunting partner, a yellow Labrador named April was starting to feel her age when Molly had her litter in May of 2009. I had been telling my brother and his wife Kathy that they should get a puppy from us as we breed dogs that can hunt and look good in the show ring. We felt really good that Chloe ws going to home where she could do what Labradors are meant to do – hunt! And hunt she does! Chloe was retrieving doves at 4 months old, ducks by 5 months, and Canada geese (honkers) by 6 months. She is a retrieving machine!

Accomplishments

But that’s not all! Lou and Kathy caught the show bug after cheering Zeus on to his Best of Breed at the Eukanuba in 2008. Lou and Chloe are beginning to make their mark in the show ring as well as the hunt test game. Chloe’s show career has started with solid showings at every show she has entered. She is owner handled by my brother Lou who does a fantastic job making Chloe look her best.
