Misty x Zeus pups
Misty (Misty Mtn Miss Independence) had 9 beautiful pups of varying shades of yellow – 3 males and 6 females – ranging in weight from 14 to 20 ounces with the average being around 17. Mother and pups appear to be doing well. Misty is so happy to be a mom again and won’t leave them for long – when she’s with them, she makes sure everyone is well taken care of. We can’t wait to watch them grow next to the Prada x Zeus pups that are 2 weeks older (and weigh 4 pounds!). We’re in Puppy Land! All these lovely pups will enter the Summit Assistance Dogs training program in hopes of serving people in need when they successfully complete their training. Misty will return to Summit to watch over them and continue to help out the organization any way that she can.

Misty’s last litter had such wonderful temperaments (Hero’s the best, right?
) – we couldn’t think of a better match! Misty also seems to have fun being the Executive Director’s “sidekick” and ambassador – we are so proud of her.
Hero is awesome. He comes home today from 2 weeks away at swim camp and 5 days of shows. I can’t wait to see him!!! Life is not the same without him here. If I had my druthers, we’d have 6 dogs like you guys do!

Congratulations Misty. They are beautiful. So looking forward to seeing them grow. What could be better than a litter of puppies? Two litters of puppies!!
Thanks! Everyone had a good first night with us “twisting arms” to get Misty to leave her pups to go outside. The pups miss her when she’s gone – they are actually quite vocal.
Ahhh, Misty and her puppies are so sweet!
We will hopefully get a puppy cam set up soon; they are not moving around a lot except to feed…and Misty is very accommodating. She just loves her pups!
