Sugar Kane – New Champion!

We have a new home-bred champion in our midst! Congrats to Sugar Kane (CH Misty Mountain Some Like It Hot) who finished a long weekend strong by taking a major at the Gold Country Kennel Club on September 4, 2011, under judge Sharon Derrick. At the end of the lead couldn’t have been a prouder parent, Toni, who recently handled Sugar Kane for her other major win, Winners Bitch at the Puget Sound Labrador Retriever Association (PSLRA) Specialty. Thanks also to Ellen Cottingham who handled Sugar for her other wins. We are ecstatic!
Zeus (Sugar’s real dad) was in the Best of Breed ring with Sugar and brought home Best Opposite. What a family affair!
Congrats also to Paris (BISS CH Gingerbred Party Shoes) who was awarded Select Bitch – super job, Christine (Gingerbred Labradors)! Pictures to follow.
Congratulations to Toni and Lorraine, your kennel rocks! Nice way to end the summer dog show scene.

Thanks, Toni has done a great job with Sugar from a very early age getting her out to shows so she LOVES ‘em. She has one of the best temperaments as well – very eager to please. Wonder what’s next for Sugar Kane?
